Merry Christmas Eve
by Nancy ~ December 24th, 2005. Filed under: Holidays.Mystic is especially beautiful this Christmastime. The shops are all draped in evergreen roping with wreaths and red ribbons. They have all been outlined in white lights and even the rigging on the ship on the river is lit. I love driving through town and seeing the festivities and bustle. A uniquely seashore decoration is the dock Christmas Tree. You see them all around the island and the harbor. It’s very charming.
We will be missing Adam & Pete very much this Christmas as they will be celebrating in Colorado. Happily we will be enjoying the holiday with my sisters and their families so there will be lots of people and fun. We will be visiting the Treats today. Dick is recovering from a serious accident where he hurt his leg but is doing terrific and is in wonderful spirits.
