Dick Treat is on the Road to Recovery
by Nancy ~ December 26th, 2005. Filed under: Friends.On Christmas Eve we stopped by to visit our dear friend, Dick Treat, who is recovering from a terrible farm accident. He’s doing just terrific - making great progress. He has an amazing contraption that is something of an exo-skeleton and allows him to move around freely. He is getting around in his wheel chair and on crutches. He is in terrific spirits and delightful to visit.
Once the soft tissue heals Dick will have some more surgery to encourage the bones to grow. Hopefully he will eventually be 100%. We are so happy to see him recovering so quickly. He and Ruth and Tom are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
