Christmas Gadget - P-touch QL-500 Label Maker

For Christmas Chuck got me a surprise gadget .. the Brother P-touch QL-500 Label Maker. I thought it looked interesting but I didn’t imagine how much I’d enjoy it! Certainly, I’ve printed sheets of labels on my laser printer for years. The morning after Christmas I installed the software and plugged it in (USB of course). I wasn’t too impressed with the look of the software or the way it interfaced with Windows .. but I decided to make a few test labels. They came out crisp and FAST. I thought that was nice. I confess my desk was piled high with papers, etc. I started sorting and making file folder labels. It was exhilarating! Somehow the nice crisp labels inspired me. It was not even New Years and I was fulfilling resolutions I hadn’t even made. The next thing I knew my desk was clear .. I had a whole drawer of organized, Labeled files .. and I felt IN-CONTROL! LOL! Anyway - there’s a great rebate which makes this little dynamo a real deal.
