My Trip to Kiawah, SC

Kiawah Island in South Carolina is a gorgeous place that feels like a nature preserve. The live oak trees and Spanish Moss have a very unique Southern beauty. Kiawah has miles of gorgeous beach that you can ride your bikes along. I was lucky enough to be invited by my friend, Peggy to visit her at her home in Kiawah.

Peggy & Alice are walking their bicycles ahead of me as we head across the boardwalk for a bicycle ride on the beach. You want to make sure you ride down the beach with the wind at your back - then head back inland to ride in the shelter of the trees back home.
Alice, Peggy & I had dinner at the beach club.
The view from Peggy’s deck was gorgeous. That object in the water is a small aligator - just waiting for the golfers!
Alice & Peggy out if front of Peggy’s home.
We had some of the most terrific tennis - it was really great. The courts are beautiful and so are the players. Here we are after 2 hours of play!
