A Ladies Garden Party in Mystic
by Nancy ~ June 29th, 2006. Filed under: Friends.It was a gorgeous day in Mystic .. sunshine on the water, warm dry air and lots of lovely ladies. The flowers didn’t really bloom until this week but they are now bursting with blooms. But if I’d planned it for a week later we would have had blooms but no sunshine!

Painted toes and colorful sandals are part of the rites of spring.
A delicate hem line and and ankle jewelry .. love the turquoise shoes.
The flowing skirts and delicate ankles remind me of a romantic era gone by.
And this is my favorite photo .. a moment - poised on one foot .. reminiscent of the shoreline birds .. the lovely ruffled skirt ..
I created one of my slide shows - “A Tribute to Friends”. It starred most of the friends in attendance and the music - “Thank You for Being a Friend” expressed just how I feel!
A few humorous photos were included ..
It was sentimental ..
And more than one friend felt emotional!

Love the sandals, Auntie! Made me feel like I need to go shoe shopping! ;) Glad you are enjoying spring and that you’ve said goodbye to the rain out there, at least for a while!
