September Fun in New England

Somehow September flew by with lots of fun things to do and not much time for blogging or sitting still. All my tennis groups began again, my clubs started meeting again and it was time to catch up with local friends after all the summer guests left. We did lots of fun things in September but I thought I’d highlight a few here.
Our friends Marilyn & Peter love live concerts. They invited us to join them at the Wolf Den for a Sawyer Brown Concert. It was a blast and we were seated right by the stage.
Visitors from Florida
We were also able to catch up with friends from Florida .. the Peppers. A fun evening with Ruth & Dick, BJ, Rob & Katie, Liza, Jeff, Marie & Kenny. We had 2 people on crutches but hopefully they will be free of them pretty soon.
Dick’s most recent doctor visits have been very positive and he is well on his way to healing his bones finally. Liza has scheduled knee surgery for a replacement. We are thankful for the miracles of modern medicine.
Stonington Farmers Market
Stonington has a wonderful Farmer’s market by the harbor on Saturday mornings. It is just so very charming with all kinds of fresh things to buy and atmosphere to enjoy.
