Thanksgiving 2007
by Nancy ~ November 25th, 2007. Filed under: Family, Holidays.This Thanksgiving we were guests at my nephew, Joey and his wife, Leslie’s place in New Jersey. It was a real treat to let the next generation take over the holiday preparations. We really had a fabulous time. It was Leslie’s first turkey and it was superb. She made southern, corn-bread dressing which was delicious. We served ourselves buffet style so we could all fit at the table together. It was a lovely time. Adam & Pete joined us by telephone.
The day after Thanksgiving we all met in Philadelphia and visited some of the historic sights. After an unseasonably warm Thanksgiving day the weather turned quite cold. We enjoyed an old fashioned pot pie at a period restaurant - delicious.
