We visited our friends, Susan & Paul, in Tucson and enjoyed the beautiful desert sunsets, cool winter nights and warm days.  We hiked up in the Tortolito mountains and had lunch.

Over 20 years ago we had a delightful young woman, Holly, spend a year with us as a nanny.  Tiny in stature she was large in her love and generosity.  A wonderful artist, she left her mark here along with a number of pieces of artwork she created for us and our family and friends.  [...]

My nephew, Joey is moving to Germany where he’ll be flying Nato diplomats for the Air Force. His wife, Leslie will be joining him there in June. We were delighted that they came up to CT for a little farewell party. It was the first time this year we had most of the family together.

Chuck and friends, Dick, John & Jeff, visited a CT motorcycle museum.  It was in an old mansion which looked more like the home of the Munsters than a museum!

We had a really delightful New Year’s Eve with wonderful friends, Ruth & Dick, Jeff & Liza and Mischa.  It was a great day full of wonderful food, great company and movies in the home theater.
