Blue Water Rafting with Pete
by Nancy ~ February 7th, 2008. Filed under: Family, Hawaii, Places. This is the third year we’ve gone on a Blue Water Rafting trip to the southern coast of the island. Each year we experience different things but it’s always a great time. The pontoon boat flies across the water and it’s a warm, wet, bucking bronco ride. This year we saw a lot of whales close by. In fact a mother and baby came to explore us! The baby breeched close to the boat and then they proceeded to dive and swim underwater in front of the boat. It was a great show.
The weather here has been unusually cloudy so far for Pete’s visit. It should be sunnier tomorrow with full sun on his last day, Saturday. But we haven’t let the clouds dimish our fun. The snorkeling was great and we were visited by a lot of turtles. Peter took the turtle pictures which came out great.
