A Lovely Evening
by Nancy ~ October 31st, 2008. Filed under: Friends.Our stock club fortunately decided to liquidate our portfolio last January. It was not clear at the time what a prescient move that was. But we ladies still like to get together. We gathered for dinner last week and had a wonderful time. We had presentations from 2 members who have done some amazing things. Bebe and her husband, Fred, spent 2 months this past winter in Tanzania teaching Aids orphans. Elin and her husband, Rick, brought water to 2 different villages in Guatemala. We are thrilled to have such truly altruistic friends.
